Position – FP&A Manager

Location – Bury St Edmunds

Position Summary: As the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis services to the business. You will regualarl liaise with European counterparts and report to the CFO in Suffolk. The successful candidate will have advanced MS Office experience, as well as experience in either FMCG, food, or malt industry

Key Responsibilities:

– lead a team of FP&A analysts
– Develop financial models to support decision-making
– Provide financial insights and analysis to the business
– Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts.
– Analyse financial data and present findings to senior leaders
– Manage ad-hoc financial analysis projects
– Prepare reports on performance to management
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or QBE
– At least 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience
– Advanced MS Office skills in Excel and Powerpoint
– Experience in FMCG, food, or malt industry
– Experience managing a team
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Senior Accountant 


Position – Senior Practice Accountant / Portfolio Holder

Location – North Norfolk
Salary – From £40k

Position Summary: The Senior Practice Accountant / Portfolio Holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing accounting and taxation services to a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:

– Managing clients and providing accounting/taxation
– Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
– Advising clients on various accounting and tax matters
– Assisting in the preparation of tax planning strategies
– Keeping up-to-date waccounting tax laws and regulations
– Developing long-term relationships & managing expectations
– Assisting with management/development of the firm’s team

Requirements:

– Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
– At least 5 years’ experience in professional practice
– Strong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage and Xero
– Excellent time management and organisational skills
